Editorial policy

Reviewed 22 October 2026 · How we research

Sources

We prioritise peer-reviewed studies, regulator publications (MHRA, FDA, EMA, NICE) and official prescribing information. Every compound page lists its references. Where evidence is only from animals or cell cultures, we say so in the text, not just in the footnotes.

Dosing information

We report doses exactly as used in published studies or licensed product labels, alongside the population and setting. We do not translate animal doses into human doses and do not recommend doses for unlicensed compounds.

Reviews and corrections

Pages carry a “reviewed” date. Regulatory status and trial results change; we re-check pages when major results or approvals are announced. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it and note the change.

Independence

Our referenced supplier does not review or approve content before publication, and content is not changed to favour any product. See our disclosure.
