Doses used in published research
Human data come from the postoperative ileus studies, which used intravenous infusions in hospital, and from small pharmacokinetic studies. There is no approved human dose. Animal studies used microgram-per-kilogram doses.

Handling and storage
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, adding it slowly down the vial wall and swirling rather than shaking — see the reconstitution guide. How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg Ipamorelin vial?
There is no fixed amount — the volume sets the concentration. Adding 2 mL to a 5 mg vial gives 2.5 mg/mL; 1 mL gives 5 mg/mL, 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, 3 mL gives 1.667 mg/mL.
How many units is 100 µg of Ipamorelin?
At 2.5 mg/mL (5 mg in 2 mL), 100 µg is 0.04 mL, or 4 units on a U-100 syringe. A different water volume changes this — use the calculator above.
